Top 5 views of the Eiffel Tower

I remember the first time I saw the Eiffel Tower in 2013, it was love at first sight ! Since that moment I can not pass by without taking a photo of the Iron Lady. Being not a big fan of touristy places, I try to capture the iconic monument from the most uncommon angles. Here are my 5 favorite views of the Eiffel Tower which , I’m sure, won’t let you go without taking a beautiful picture of one the most photographed landmarks in the world.

1. Rue Saint-Dominique

If you go to the intersection of rue Saint-Dominique and boulevard de la Tour Maubourg, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. This place is very dear to me as I used to live in the neighborhood during the first years of studies at the Sorbonne and I have so many warm memories about it.
As the result, you can see many photos from this location on my Instagram page 😉

2. Avenue de Camoens

Located in the 16th arrondissement, at a few minutes walk from such touristic places as Champ de Mars and Trocadero. This hidden spot offers an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

3. Rue de l'Université

Go to the point where rue de l’Université crosses avenue de la Bourdonnais and you’ll have an outstanding view of the Iron Lady. Here you will probably meet more people than in the previous two places, which is justified by its proximity of the main touristic locations. Nevertheless, I’m certain you won’t regret.

4. Place de Breteuil

My recent discovery, an ideal viewpoint to admire both the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides. There you will be able to take some interesting shots of the Tower with Haussmann buildings. Come here at sunset to get the best colors and enjoy the Eiffel Tower’s illuminations.

5. Passerelle Debilly

This is a walking bridge next to the Pont d’Iena in direction to the city center. It’s a good viewpoint to capture the iconic monument and passing boats from the Seine perspective.

I hope you’ll enjoy these spots as much as I do !
Love,
Victoria
